NewMarkets

The objective of the NewMarkets fund is to achieve the long-term return of the diversified portfolio invested in emerging equity markets.

The portfolio of NewMarkets consists of publicly traded securities (mainly equity) of emerging countries with the main focus on mid-sized and small-sized companies with market capitalization above USD 100m. When choosing portfolio investments, mainly the relative value style is applied. The strategy is opportunity/skill driven, commonly known as "stock picking".

The Fund's portfolio is territorially and industry diversified, it is supposed to be long in equities with the ability to use various techniques to diversify risk or to enhance return. The Fund is not supposed to employ the direct leverage. However, it can use leveraged instruments, such as warrants or Turbo instruments. To enhance return, the NewMarkets Fund may invest up to 50% of Fund´s total assets in less liquid investments. In order to diversify its strategy the NewMarkets fund is also eligible for invest in ETFs.

Eastern Europe & CIS countries are the main territories for investments of NewMarkets as we believe that the region represents one of the world´s best investment opportunities in the coming years. On the other hand it is also possible to invest in other global emerging markets in order to diversify portfolio. The Fund has the ability to invest in more than 50 markets globally.

The Fund focuses on investment opportunities that have not yet been discovered and fully analyzed by the market. Fund management relies on its own research supported by the cooperation of experienced local brokers in target countries.
